MAAIF Permanent Secretary Mr. Pius Wakabi Visits the RPLRP project Area

In  January 2017 , The Permanent Secretary of MAAIF Mr. Pius Wakabi  visited the Napak, Nakapiripirit and Moroto districts to see firsthand how the Regional Pastoral Livelihoods Resilience Project was going to address livelihood challenges and build resilience for the pastoral and agro pastoral communities in the Karamoja ,Teso and Sebei regions.

Along with one of the key National Project Coordination team members Dr. Dr. Martin Kasirye met with local government officials and visited the RPLRP activities focused on water and market infrastructure, the environment and livelihood support. Mr. Wakabi travelled through the project districts to see the conditions under which the livestock was being reared. He had discussions with the senior officials of the district teams and hoped that the project would have a good impact in the region.
