Hand Over of twelve brand new Toyota Hillux pick-up trucks
On 24th April 2017, the handover ceremony of the 12 government vehicles to the District Veterinary Officers who represented the Chief Administrative Officers of the Moroto, Napak, Nakapiripirit, Amudat, Amuria, Kaabong, Kween, Kotido, Kumi, Bukedea, Abim and Katakwi districts was held at the Directorate of Animal Resources (Ministry of Agriculture, Animal industry and Fisheries) in Entebbe and this was done by the project Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Mr. James Kiwolu on behalf of Dr. Stephen Kajura ,the National Project Coordinator.
The twelve brand new ToyotaHillux pick-up trucks will be used by the Project Management Teams in the districts in monitoring and supervision of project activities and the 36 Dell desktops were to improve the efficiency of the district M& E Assistants, Accounts Assistant and District Project Coordinators( DVOs) as they carry out project work.
In the same event, Mr. James Kiwolu on behalf of the National Project Coordinator said “I am pleased that the vehicles and computers are finally being handed over to the respective benefiting districts. With the new vehicles, the RPLRP implementing districts will be able to get to project sites more easily for monitoring purposes.”
